Not sure if you’re still in need of an answer. (I just found this blog an hour ago.) Apple cider is straight from the apple. It is not filtered to remove pulp. It may be pasteurized and is commonly found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. (This is not ‘hard cider’, which has been fermented. and has an alcohol content.) Apple juice is a shelf-stable product, filtered and may have added sugar.

You should be able to use either apple cider (non-alcoholic) or apple juice in this recipe. I’m going to try it tomorrow, sounds so delicious. I wonder how long oatmeal keeps in the fridge, if I cook this for myself can I reheat it each day for the next 3 days?

It’s a bummer to think about what the rest of the world thinks of our election process at this point – glad we were able to provide a distraction though. 🙂 Hope you’ll let me know if you try the oatmeal! 🙂
