Apple pie oatmeal is like fall in a bowl! Apples are used three ways in this healthy, quick hot breakfast. Ready in 15 minutes and tastes like apple heaven.

In medium pan (2-4 quarts), combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce to low/simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often to avoid sticking to the bottom of the pan. Serve hot with optional toppings.
In the Microwave (single serving)
In a wide, shallow bowl, microwave 1/4 portions of all ingredients on high for 3-4 minutes. You may be able to cook the entire recipe in a large, shallow bowl, but I have had spillage problems with oatmeal in my microwave, so I recommend the stovetop method if you don't want to make a single serving.
For Cinnamon Cashew Cream
Blend all ingredients until creamy. Will thicken upon standing after 15 minutes or so. Refrigerate any leftovers up to 5 days.
