Hi Amanda, they are! Sweet potatoes can be eaten raw (and they’re tasty!) but white potatoes cannot. They’re actually a different plant type altogether. If you’re still not sure about eating the sweet taters raw, just sub carrots and you’ll be all set. 🙂
