Playing a bit of catch-up here, this post should actually have gone live almost a week ago! But, I did share the video update on YouTube on the right day, so that’s gotta be a win, right? RIGHT? I’m calling it a win.

Quick update this week!
Food has been tough for me this week. I’m not tracking, and I should be. It’s important that I do because I’m realizing just how quickly I can start rationalizing eating more. Especially when I start making the Thanksgiving food to prepare for the big day, like my vegan broccoli casserole. I made it over the weekend and, well, there weren’t any leftovers. There are only 4 people in this house, and two of them weigh less than 50 pounds each. So….even though it was the only thing that made up my dinner, I still overdid it and I could feel it in every way. Lesson learned? Listen to my body, stop eating when I’m full, enjoy the leftovers tomorrow. I’m still sad there weren’t leftovers.
I also didn’t track this mummy meatloaf that I made on Halloween night. It was a recipe test, and it’s got potential. A lot of ketchup helped. 🙂
I did make it to Barre3 quite a bit this week, and I’m still loving it. I find it to be such a great way to visually see myself change. My midsection is in my way, and I’m annoyed by it, but it will feel awesome to see it gradually go away. Here’s this week’s recap!

Weight lost this week: 2.6 lbs
Goal weight by 40th birthday on March 18, 2019: 199.6 lbs (basically, just want to get under 200 pounds by that day)
Final goal weight: 150 lbs (aiming to hit this by October 1, 2019)
2.6 pounds and still on track! Slow and steady wins the race, says this tortoise. Stay the course, friends! <3
